English tea with a Welshman
This afternoon, I had English tea with a Welshman.
As I was coming up the walkway, Elwig invited me into his beautifully decorated home. It was simply decorated – a few Moroccan pieces of furniture, a few Indian textiles.
Over tea, Elwig and I chatted about life in Morocco. He’s been in Essa for four years now. He showed me his collection of old postcards of the area. It was neat to see how Essaouira has changed over the decades.
Oh the interesting lives of expats!
Moments like this you can’t plan for.
