Washington Times interview

Posted in Uncategorized by Diana on November 11, 2009

About a week ago, I was contacted by the Peace Corps’ Public Affairs Office and asked if I’d mind being interviewed for an article about my decision to apply for Peace Corps.

“Not at all,” I replied. “Happy to do it.”

The next day, I spoke to a Washington Times reporter for a few minutes and answered a few questions.

Viola! The article is published and in print today!

Check out my in-depth (kidding, haha) interview in the Washington Times at: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/nov/11/peace-corps-popularity-jumps/

A minor correction: I’ve been invited to serve as a health educator, not health care assignment. Also, I find it funny that I’m printed as “Miss Yan.” That makes me feel like I’m sixteen. Then again, this single gal has been dreaming about being a PCV since she was sixteen.

wheeee! 😀
